Why Context Matters
Eosinophil counts naturally fluctuate according to a diurnal rhythm (lowest in the morning, highest at night). Also, the use of anti-inflammatory steroids can rapidly deplete eosinophil levels in the blood.
Lab ranges are statistical averages, not biological laws. "Normal" for a 20-year-old male isn't normal for a 60-year-old female.
