Medical Condition

Hypernatremia

Hypernatremia is a condition in which the sodium concentration in the blood is abnormally high. It usually occurs due to dehydration or excessive water loss, and can lead to neurological symptoms.

Common Symptoms

  • Extreme thirst
  • Confusion
  • Muscle twitching
  • Seizures
  • Lethargy
