Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

A UTI is an infection in any part of your urinary system, including kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Most infections involve the lower urinary tract (bladder and urethra) and are more common in women.

Common Symptoms

  • Strong, persistent urge to urinate
  • Burning sensation during urination
  • Frequent, small amounts of urine
  • Cloudy urine
  • Pelvic pain (in women)
